“A Prayer to Jesus, 7-7-20,” by Andrew J. Schatkin

My dear ladies and gentlemen and fellow readers and thinkers and who reject political code words, media falsehoods and wish to join with me in a quest for facts and truth and employ critical thinking and not choosing to be swayed by the barrage of political rhetoric whose base are the forces of power and money founded in commerce and politics, I bid you join me in another intellectual adventure where the darkness surrounding us can be lifted, and the curtains drawn for us to find and discover what is really occurring and grasp and understand the many events and actions that may and do serve to mislead us and make us victims and fools.

Dear Jesus, we lift up our hearts and minds and souls to you in prayer as the sole source of salvation and truth and as the source of life itself. We pray not to be fooled by the current messages and rhetoric of the world that we all worship one and the same god when you have made it many times clear that the full and final revelation of divinity and god are seen and found in you alone. You claimed the power to forgive sins something only god can do. You raised the dead, we are told, from the grave to life. The world tells us to ignore your unequivocal claim and say you are only a prophet, a good person and we are told by many forces to deny you divinity and your claim to the resurrection.

Dear Christ, keep us strong in your faith and do not let us be led astray by these lies and these shouts of what are nothing more, if not political rhetoric, than are the work of Satan working in the world to mislead humanity as he did to our first parents in the Garden of Eden. Many times you said you were the only way and the only truth.

Dear Lord Jesus, make us strong on your faith and in your divine claims. Do not let the world fool us with its constant talk to convince us there are other ways and other gods. Make us strong to stand in your faith never to veer and never to compromise from your eternal truth and your offer of eternal life in the joy of heaven with all the saints and all the angels and archangels and all the company of heaven. We ask you, dear lord, to not let us be led astray by he lies and rhetoric of Satan and his world. Be with us, lord Jesus, always and forever.
