“How Much Should We Pray?” by Andrew J. Schatkin
My dear thinkers, readers, and Christians and non-Christians alike, I wish to speak of and address the matter and issue and how often and how much we should pray. Prayer is a form of communication with the eternal god and his only begotten son and the holy trinity. I cannot fail to emphasize that god wishes and wants his creation and so to speak his sons and daughters to pray and do so regularly and consistently because he greatly and truly desires to maintain his relationship with all humanity and all generations and to know them as the beings he suffered and died for on the cross more deeply and more constantly. He wants us to pray, as is commanded, without ceasing, because when we pray we connect with his love for us and our relationship is more and more realized and developed. Every being and certainly every child wishes to be paid attention to and the parent in doing so also shows and exhibits his love. Both are in loving communication, and so with god and Christ and the angels and all the company heaven, when we pray to god and Christ, in doing so we grow in our relationship. We cannot as god’s creation cease to pray because if we do not we lose our relationship that god wants from us as his children and as his friends. There is no relationship where there is no communication. When we do not speak to one another, if there is or was any relationship where there is no talk and communication or prayer, the relationship can cease to be and we can losing god as our friend and the source of all love and light, and even lose our lives now in the present and in the life to come.
